Lee Co-writes Article for MCF Newsletter

LaVon Lee, Grotto Program Officer, has co–written an article for the Minnesota Council on Foundations Giving Forum newsletter. The article offers cultural insights to philanthropic organizations considering funding to American Indian people.

The article, Akiptan—Working Together, speaks to the need for philanthropies to consider the cultural realities of American Indians in their grantmaking and the value of participatory approaches and culturally relevant strategies when working with Native communities.
