Niigaane Immersion School Receives National Recognition
Leslie Harper, the administrator for the Niigaane Ojibwemowin Immersion School, a grantee of Grotto’s Native Language Revitalization Initiative is presenting at the Indigenous Language Institute Symposium in Albuquerque, NM on her school’s efforts to restore the language through immersion education. Grotto’s grantees continue to receive national recognition in their work to revitalize indigenous languages.
